Mr. JD Howell.. where do I begin gushing? This man is by all meaning, a true and talented artist. I have had the honour and privilege of working with him several times now and I have to say, he is simply genius. He is one of coolest people I know, yes I just said cool. He is, and it works. I have never met another photographer that has made me feel more calm, relaxed and at ease and so as a result he is able to evoke sexy, beautiful confidence.. he works magic like no other. Capturing sweetness and purity, desire and lust, love and soul, comedy, sorrow, and beauty.. especially where you wouldn't believe there was any.

Our most recent project together was my wedding. I left it all in his hands. I didnt worry one bit! I knew I was well taken care of. His level of professionalism is exceptional. You can hand over to him all your trust and I promise you will not be disappointed. He is incredibly discreet. He finds such unique ways to stay removed from the moment as to not tarnish it so it can be captured in all it's honesty. Trust me, you will look back at your stunning photos and wonder "how did he get that? how did he do that? I didn't even know he was there!" I'm telling you he is not like any other wedding photographer. Anything you want you got it, but if you leave the art to the artist you will be rewarded in ways you can't even imagine. It's a hard thing to come up with words of thanks. How can you thank someone for such a service? These are the moments of your life that are priceless.. thank you JD for allowing me to forever remember the moments of that day. All those candid shots, unposed, unrealized, and just so true, all those moments that without you would have gone uncaught and over time lost in the mind and forgotten.

Unveil, under the leadership of JD, did a fantastic job capturing our wedding memories.
They were able to take the most amazing shots (we've had many, many, many compliments!), all while being able to tell the story of our wedding. As a previous poster had touched on, those who were unable to attend our wedding felt as though they were there through the photos.

The unveil team did an amazing job. Every body in the pictures looked so good, especially Rana , Mazen and widad. I came back to the US , everyone here was looking forward to hear about the wedding . I showed them the pictures and they felt as if they were there with us. The team captured the real meaning of the wedding the happiness of the family and friends for the bride and groom. I honestly do not have the words to describe the feelings that rushed through me after seeing the pictures of my sister's wedding taken by Unveil... i kept looking at the photos over and over again, and everytime i would discover small details in the photos that i have not noticed before and another rush of emotions would run through me again.
On top of all this, the comments of our family, friends, colleagues, strangers about this great artistic work was overwhelming and so flattering.
The talent that the Unveil team has is visible in every single shot taken, and it's this talent that makes you relive the moment with all your senses and joys.

I've known JD for almost 10 years. He's one of my best friends and biggest inspiration. I know his artwork, i know his talent, and i know his heart. I am not surprised that all of these things and much more, are portrayed in his photos.

Even before deciding to get married, i had booked unveil for my 'tentative' wedding. I didn't know when, i didn't know where, and i didn't know how... but i knew who was going to document it. When Maz and I got engaged in November 2009, i instantly knew that our wedding was going to take so much out of me to plan, prepare for and deliver... for a few different reasons. The first reason is because i am obsessive compulsive and i knew that getting everything just the way i want, is an impossible task. I started the planning process 6 months before the wedding. Having an art background, i had so many ideas, and wanted so many things. One of the most important things Maz and i both wanted, was memories. We wanted to remember our day ALWAYS. to be able to look at our pictures and remember the smell of the air, the sound of the music and the way we felt. The pictures JD and Angelika take capture moments. They are not still images. They carry so much life that it is impossible not to reminisce about the event. They have so much in them that they stir up feelings and can bring you to tears.

The exact same day we finalized the date of the wedding, June 12th 2010, we booked JD and Angelika's flights to Beirut Lebanon where the wedding was going to happen.

The wedding was perfect. The food was succulent, the weather was warm, the setup was romantic, the music was wonderful, Maz and i were in heaven. I didn't worry once about the photographers. I didn't know where they were or what they were doing exactly, all i knew was that they were producing magic.

A couple of weeks ago i received the pictures from JD (by the way, at a speed that no other photographer in Lebanon could ever match!). I cried at every picture. Over 800 pictures, every single one told a story. Our parents are in awe, our friends are in awe... they are so beautiful. Needless to say, i posted all of them (watermarked versions) on facebook. People i don't even know, from Jordan, the US and Dubai are sending me messages about the pictures and asking who the photographers were.

Unveil not only delivered, JD and Angelika were professional, calm, alert, quick on their feet, but most importantly, warm and funny and inspiring and wonderful.

Maz and i are so fortunate and lucky to have worked with unveil. The essence of our wedding is captured and if i were to show the wedding pictures to any of my dear friends who were not able to attend, they will know exactly how it was. They will taste the food, smell the air and hear the music, and they will definitely feel all the love in the air.
